Instead of letting old batteries collect dust in the garage or end up wasting away in a landfill where they will likely do harm to our environment, why not turn that battery into something everyone can enjoy…..like a tree!

Recently, Montreal’s city government announced it would no longer accept dead batteries from businesses.This sudden change came as a major blow to local business owners. Alan DeSousa, a city executive for sustainable development, claimed that according to Montreal law, retailers of all stripes must take responsibility for disposing dead batteries.
